Mrs. Artarshia Lyons

Mrs. Artarshia Lyons is a dedicated and accomplished school administrator with over two decades of experience in education. She served Sullivan Middle School as Assistant Principal for three years and this is her second year as a school administrator at Dutchman Creek Middle School.  Prior to her transition into leadership, Mrs. Lyons spent 18 years inspiring and educating students as a middle school science and social studies teacher in both North Carolina and South Carolina.

 

Her strong academic foundation includes a Master of Arts in Middle Grades Education and a Master of Arts in School Administration, both from Gardner-Webb University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina.

Mrs. Lyons is passionate about fostering academic excellence and supporting the holistic development of students. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
